BioI joined Kaiser Permanente in August, 2005. I decided to work at Kaiser after hearing from friends how much they liked the care they received. Over several years, I was fortunate to be able hear his many wonderful patient-care stories. |

While in New York at my grandson's 2 y/o birthday party, he was really enjoying his lemonade. I said to him, "Liev you are drinking like a camel." There was a pause and then he said, "G'Papp, I'm not drinking like a camel. Camels don't drink lemonade—they drink water." We both laughed. People in my life:My wife is the greatest. We share many common interests. My children and people I care about:A picture is worth a million words . An interesting story about my family or friends:Recently my daughter and her family were in Vermont on vacation. One day while traveling into town, a puppy was in the road and they stopped and took the puppy to the local gas station. The local mail carrier happened to be there. She recognized the puppy and returned it to its owner along with the daily mail. |

An adventure I've had:Travel to the Kerla region of India to learn about Ayruveda ( traditional medicine of India ). Favorite place in the world:California—for the outdoor activities, beautiful sunsets, and the BEAUTY that is always here! One of my recent trips: Visited my grandchildren in Manhattan. We had fun going to the park, reading books, eating gelato, and my granddaughter's favorite make-believe game—making chocolate soup. |
